The FX3U Mitsubishi PLC series are compatible with existing FX2N expansion modules as well as the new FX3U ADP expansion modules. It can be used as a replacement for FX2N PLCs.
There are three memory cassettes that can be installed into the FX3U CPU. When the memory cassettes installed, the internal program is used in place of the internal RAM memory.
